The NLRB just finished counting ballots and we voted by an overwhelming 98.8% (323-yes to 4-no), in favor of WCM Postdocs United-UAW (WCMPU-UAW) as our union!
We will have more information soon regarding next steps in our campaign. For now, we want to thank everyone who participated in our historic election and in the months of discussion, debate, and outreach among postdocs that lead to this point. Together, we have truly generated an unprecedented conversation around the importance and value of our work as postdocs at the university and beyond.
We will be celebrating our victory this evening from now onwards at Hunterian (413 E 70th St) – we hope to see you there!
