We are excited to announce that the Weill Cornell Medicine administration has responded to our proposal to begin negotiations! We have scheduled our first bargaining session for March 29, 2024.
We want to take a moment to congratulate everyone, not only for all the hard work to come together in our 99% vote to unionize, but also for the strong majority participation in our bargaining survey and unanimous vote to ratify our bargaining goals.
This broad and consistent support from the postdoc community will be critical to making progress at the bargaining table – together we can negotiate a strong contract to improve not only our working conditions but also standards for postdocs across NYC!
