Please join us for a special membership meeting of UAW Local 4100 on Tuesday, December 16th, at 6:30 pm. This will be our first membership meeting with our fellow UAW Local 4100 members at Columbia and Sinai since we ratified our contract by an overwhelming 99.2%, and a supermajority of our unit has already signed up as members. This meeting is being called to announce elections for open positions in both our unit and our Local.
We will have an opportunity to provide an update about our contract campaign and hear from other researcher union campaigns across the city. As researchers and postdocs across the city build sectoral bargaining power and improve standards, we will discuss our shared priorities, ideas, and hopes for the future of Local 4100. RSVP here.
