Please join us this evening at 6:30 PM ET for UAW Local 4100’s September Membership Meeting.
At this meeting, we will open nominations and hold an election for the Local 4100 Elections Committee. All members of UAW Local 4100 who are in good standing are automatically nominated for the Elections Committee. Any member in good standing may accept nomination at this membership meeting.
The Elections Committee is made up of at least one member of each unit (CPW-UAW, SPOC-UAW, and WCMPU-UAW) and one alternate. We will open nominations for committee positions across all three units.
The Elections Committee plays a critical role for our Local Union – ensuring that all members can exercise their democratic rights and that our elections are run in a fair, transparent and impartial fashion. Training and support will be provided to all new members of the Elections Committee.
In addition to holding elections for the Elections Committee and conducting our regular business, we will also open nominations for other vacant Officer positions in the Local, hear updates from bargaining committee members at both Columbia and Mount Sinai, welcome our new full time staff organizer, and share important announcements about what’s ahead for our Union.
