Our contract ratification vote began at 9am today – if you haven’t done so already, please take a minute now to vote! The more of us who participate in voting, the more power we will have as researchers to continue to fight for more rights and improvements at WCM.
If you did not receive a link to vote, take the following steps:
1. Search your inbox for an email from invitations@mail.electionbuddy.com with a link to your ballot.
2. Search your phone for any recent text message from ElectionBuddy.
3. If you still can’t find it, make sure you’ve signed a union authorization to be eligible to vote: https://wcmpostdocunion.org/card/ – if you have not signed a card, sign up and you will receive your ballot soon.
4. Email elections@wcmpostdocunion.org if you still can’t find your ballot or have any other issues.
We will be holding an informational Town Hall tomorrow at 2pm to provide more information and answer questions about our Tentative Agreement! The more of us who come out to the Town Hall, the more well-informed we will all be about the contents of the TA, and the more effectively we will be able to enforce these rights if a majority votes “yes” to ratify.
